Be positive and optimistic. A week or two later, after you have tried the solution, come back with the family members involved and discuss how the plan worked.

It may be necessary to make some adjustments. Then try again. Remember, conflict is an inevitable part of human relationships. However, effective conflict resolution can help families to manage stressful situations, to solve problems, and to grow closer.
